One of the paradoxes of Christianity is that leaders are followers and followers are also leaders.

As Paul concluded the third chapter of his important letter to the church in Philippi, he taught the followers there that an important component to their transformation would be to observe and imitate the godly example of others. Paul even said, (words to this effect) 'As I follow Christ, so you follow me."
